Sporting Kansas City's Community Partner of the Game is a game day recognition designed to spotlight local nonprofits and community-based organizations creating a meaningful impact across our region.

Charlie’s House is dedicated to preventing unintentional injuries to children by educating parents, caregivers, and community members about safety risks in and around the home.

Thank you to Charlie’s House for the important work they do to help keep children safe across our community.

 Community Blood Center

Community Blood Center

Sporting Kansas City was proud to recognize the Community Blood Center as our Community Partner of the Game on May 23rd vs Red Bull New York. CBC provides a vital, stable blood supply to over 70 local hospitals across the Kansas City Metro, supporting patients of all ages who face trauma, surgery, and chronic illnesses. In 2025 alone, CBC delivered nearly 150,000 lifesaving blood products to ensure healthcare providers had the resources necessary for emergency and routine care. CBC has partnered with Sporting KC to amplify this critical mission and raise awareness of the ongoing need for local donors. Through regular blood drives and community outreach, this long-standing partnership has successfully collected over 1,500 blood products, uniting fans and staff to build a healthier Kansas City.

Lead to Read

Lead to Read

Sporting Kansas City was proud to recognize Lead to Read KC as our Community Partner of the Game on August 1 vs Houston Dynamo. Lead to Read KC mobilizes the community to solve the literacy crisis by connecting students with reading mentors, resources, and unwavering support.

They've placed 2,000+ weekly volunteer Reading Mentors in 33 Kansas City metro schools, providing one-on-one reading support to early elementary students in under-resourced communities. While also offering Science of Reading-based tutoring, monthly book distribution, and Author Partnerships that bring diverse local authors into classrooms. Their north star: every Kansas City child reading by the end of third grade. They primarily serve students in grades 1–3 attending public and charter schools in the Kansas City metropolitan area, with a focus on Title I schools where 75% or more of students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Many of their students face compounding barriers, including poverty, housing instability, and chronic absenteeism. They also serve the 2,000+ community volunteers who show up each week as Reading Mentors: neighbors, coworkers, and community members investing in Kansas City's youngest readers.

Sporting KC was proud to recognize Children's Advocacy Centers of Kansas as our Community Partner of the Game at Sporting Park on August 29th. As part of the game day experience, their team engaged with fans on Sporting Plaza, took the stage to share more about their mission, and were recognized in-stadium before the game. Children's Advocacy Centers of Kansas the statewide chapter organization supporting Kansas' network of Child Advocacy Centers (CACs) who's mission is to support, strengthen, and sustain Child Advocacy Centers work to prevent child abuse and protect children through professional training, community engagement, prevention initiatives, and advocacy.
